The Neo-Classical-Indo-Chinese vision of an eccentric Duke, now a wandering spot for dreamers. It sits behind gilded gates off the Boulevard de Courcelles, like an enchanted bell jar. The perfect place for a hot chocolate and a stroll among time-worn statues depicting artists of the day (Chopin, de Maupassant, Gounod), as well as an Egyptian pyramid, Dutch windmill, Roman colonnades, Chinese lanterns, and a mirrored bridge over a creek. The first silk parachute jump was executed here in 1797. A Jules Verne-themed carousel sits near the entrance.
