AFRICA TRAVELOGUES

Even though I took notes throughout our travels in Gambia and Senegal, the most clear, vivid ones were at the front of the trip—during our first nine days. I lost steam after that. And succumbed to a stupor of fresh coconut slices and Julbrew Beer while being lulled into stillness by incessant, Atlantic waves. It bears mentioning, however, that it was probably a good thing: to lay down pen and camera. To lose all concern for posting or sharing and just be wherever I was, living moments fully. Immersed in the love and wonder that only Africa can extend.
